Our 3 Favorite Trending Fall Colors for 2025

Earthy Green, Berry Tones and Mocha/Chocolate Brown.  All 3 of these colors embrace the warmth and depth of Fall 2025.  We will break down each color and describe how you can incorporate into your home this holiday season.

Fall Color Trend #1

This season, you will see rich earthy greens being used on accent walls, throw pillows, furniture and accessories.  Mossy green and Olive green are certainly having their moment but let’s not exclude Emerald Green from that list.  Maybe try a beautiful jewel tone bedding ensemble in your guest bedroom.  It’s fitting for the holiday season but these colors will carry over to 2026.

Deep mauve, eggplant and berry tones are popping up everywhere.  Designers are moving away from the cold and minimalistic colors of the past and leaning towards warm and rich colors.  However, use these colors sparingly so they feel luxurious and don’t overwhelm your space.  A home office or study would look spectacular painted in a deep burgundy color.

Who doesn’t love to use a little mocha/chocolate brown while updating a space. This shade is so versatile, it’s being described as a “luxurious new neutral” for 2025-2026.  You can use it on accent walls, flooring, leather upholstery or rugs in any room.  It blends well with crisps whites and soft creams for a perfect contrast.

If you are curious about how to incorporate any of these colors into your home, you can always start small by introducing a set of pillow covers or an accent side chair in velvet.  This way you can keep your base furniture in neutral tones so you have some flexibility.
